Greetings SDSC Ski Racers,

Here is the "Race Info" with regard to the remaining races for the 2024-2025 Season. Please note that you will need to download, fill out/sign, and return this year's Alpine League Membership and Waiver form to me (Art Grigg) at racing@sdskiclub.org, if you plan on participating in any of the race activities discussed below.

The first race(s) for the season is on Saturday Feb 22nd, at Mammoth, GS with 2 races 2 runs each race. I expect the racing on the hill to take less than 2 hours total. Registration is in Roma's room at main lodge 3:30- 4:30 the afternoon before and 7:30- 8:30 the morning of the race. There is also a race clinic on Friday afternoon with registration at noon in Roma's room. Roma's room is located upstairs above the Parking shuttle bus stop at Main lodge.

The next event is a 3 day race clinic at Snow Summit March 3,4,5 organized by Laura Priess ( rokkaracers@aol.com ). Everyone that participates in these clinics always feels like they get great value and skills that make skiing safer and more fun.

On March 14th the Championships will be at Alpine Meadows. Rokka League - Southern California and Sierra League - Northern California.

The last race this season will be Saturday March 22 with an afternoon clinic the day before as above.

Yes it is abnormal to have the championships before the last Rokka race. I'll be at Mandolf Haus and skiing at Mammoth Wed. - Sat (2/19). so contact me if you like, I'd be happy to share some of what I've learned about racing.
